Is the music really free?
Yes. For your own videos you can download every free song as an MP3 and use it. Premium songs come with the Lifetime license.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The download works without registering. You only need an account for favorites and for the Lifetime license, whose license PDFs you download there.
May I use the music in monetized YouTube videos?
Yes. Without a license, the ad revenue from that video goes to us. With the Lifetime license you report the video in your account, we release it, and the revenue goes to you. On request we whitelist your own YouTube channel and then release every claim there.
Do I need a license for company or client videos? What does it cost?
Yes. For videos of companies, associations and institutions with up to 15 employees and for work for clients of that size, you need the Lifetime license: €119 once for every song, Premium songs included, usable for good.
Do I have to credit audiofire in the video?
Free use requires the credit “Music: https://audiofire.io”; with the Lifetime license it is not needed.
Do you have chart hits?
No. Every song is our own composition. You may not use chart hits without a license from their rights holders.
What is the license validator?
With the Lifetime license you can download a license document with its own license number for every song. In our license validator you and your clients can check that the license is genuine and valid. That makes it easy to prove the music is used lawfully.
Are all songs instrumental?
Yes, every song is instrumental. Many songs also come in versions such as “No Melody” or “Short Mixes”, which you pick right at the song with the versions button.
Is the music AI-generated?
No. All our songs are composed, produced and mastered entirely without AI. Another advantage: if you also do without AI in your videos, your content stays completely AI-free with our music. So you don’t have to worry about an additional AI label because of our music.
