Calm music for meditation videos, yoga flows and anything that may go slowly: piano, soft pads, gentle guitar. Free as MP3, no sign-up. All composed and produced in-house – no AI at all.

  • Free for your own videos

  • Lifetime license for courses and clients

If you sell online courses or make videos for your studio, you need the Lifetime license for a one-off €119. It applies to companies, associations and institutions with up to 15 employees and to videos you make for clients of that size, for good and for all songs. No credit is needed.

In the room

Tips for calm videos

  1. Crossfade instead of looping

A song that audibly starts over stands out at once in the silence of a meditation. So use a soft crossfade instead of hard-repeating one song: the first song slowly fades out while the next one comes in. This gives you an almost seamless transition between two calm songs or two sections of the same song.

  2. Quieter than you think

Under spoken guidance, set the music 15 to 20 dB below your voice as a starting point. For relaxation it may be even lower than for other videos. Pro tip: with sidechain compression (ducking), your editing software lowers the music automatically as soon as you speak and brings it back up in pauses. Set very soft transitions so the calm stays.

  3. No melody under guidance

A melody draws attention. If you talk through the exercise, take the “No Melody” version. What usually remains are pads and subtle background sounds that don’t distract from your voice.

Frequently asked questions about relaxing music

More answers in the FAQ.
  • Is the relaxing music really free?

Yes. For your own videos, you can download and use all songs except the Premium songs as MP3 for free. You pay nothing, not even later. The only condition is a credit in the video description or the end credits.

  • Can I play the music in my yoga studio or practice?

No, not with an audiofire license. audiofire licenses only cover online videos. Music that plays in a room is a public performance. The right license for it is available from roombeats.

  • Can I upload a long relaxation video with only music and a still image?

No. The music has to be part of your video, for example under guidance, an exercise or your own footage. A video that consists only of our music and an image essentially passes the music on. That is not allowed.

  • Can I use the music in a paid online course?

Yes, with the Lifetime license for a one-off €119. A paid course is commercial, even if you offer it on your own.

  • Are the songs also available without melody?

Yes, many songs come in a “No Melody” version. You choose it with the song’s version button. It is included in the free use.

  • Where does the music come from? Is it AI-generated?

No. All our songs are composed, produced and mastered by people. We do not use artificial intelligence for this. That is also why we hold all the rights and can grant them to you directly.

Another advantage: if you also avoid AI in your videos, our music keeps your content completely AI-free. So you don’t have to worry about any additional AI labeling because of our music.
